Episode #004 07-11-2005

Check out Episode #004 for 07-11-2005 here! 6zo6rl.png

Hey everyone, sorry for the shorter episode, some time constraints last evening & some computer issues (which have been fixed) (Expect a much longer episode #005)

* The opening and closing music were from a cover of "Proudest Monkey" by a guy from the now-defunct DMB message boards site anyoneseenthebridge.com. I will be putting up a section of links to the music that I use in the podcast

* ufck.org still down.
"Hey kiddies, go outside and play! ufck will be back, I promise. :-)
--whelck

update (7/10): I'm waiting on the hard drive that has the latest database backup. That way all the forums don't have be created, users don't have to register, etc. I should have it Monday or Tuesday. As soon as I have the hard drive, it will only be a couple hours until everything is back up.

I'll keep you guys up to date. And hopefully I'll be able to offer up something special when ufck is back up. -whelck "

Live Aid 2005 back in Chicago
*20th anniversary Farm Aid concert comes to Chicago area

CHICAGO (AP) - Farm Aid is coming to the Chicago area for its
20th anniversary concert.
Organizers held a news conference in Chicago today to announce
the event, which will be held at the Tweeter Center in Tinley Park.
The September 18th concert will be headlined by Willie Nelson,
John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews. And organizers are
planning a week-long series of events to celebrate the fund-raiser,
which got its start in Champaign in 1985.
Over the years, Farm Aid has raised 27 (M) million dollars to
help farmers. Willie Nelson says this year's efforts are focused on putting
farmers back on the land and promoting organic farming.
Tickets will go on sale July 30th, and organizers say more
performers will be announced.

*Added some Podcasting Resource link on how to make your own podcasts with garageband (which is what I use) and with Quicktime 7 Pro
* Might have found an artist for the album art and possibly a banner for the site.
